Technology Developed in the First Industrial Revolution
In the First Industrial Revolution, various technologies developed.
Among them are three key innovations.
First, the invention of the spinning machine - Arkwright's water spinning machine, Hargreaves' multi-axis spinning machine,
We have a cotton spinning machine using Crompton's mule spinning machine (combination of water spinning machine and multi-axis spinning machine).
Second, the Steam Revolution – James Watt invented an improved steam engine.
It was immediately used in the mining industry, but was replaced by a motor from the 1780s due to technological improvements.
Third, the steel industry – in the steel industry, coal began to be used in the iron smelting phase instead of charcoal.
These three key innovations led to the rapid economic development of the Industrial Revolution.
I'm not underestimating other inventions, but the discovery of textiles has made a big difference.
If it weren't for earlier inventions, the fabric industry's multi-axial spinning machines, or flying shuttles and coke, would have been able to do so.
It would not have been possible to achieve the same results as the smelting of the ship's iron used.
